FEES: The workshop fees listed for each program represent our break-even costs. Our services provide a professional training that most participants tell us is life-changing. Our organization is not funded by government grants and we depend on class fees and donations to support our services. At the same time, as a non-profit organization, we do not want money to be the reason that you or your loved ones would be unable to participate in our training. Payment plans are available through giving us the fee in as many post-dated checks or monthly credit card authorizations as you need to. Please look honestly at your financial situation and pay as much of the fee as you can afford. If you need some scholarship support, please send us a brief note describing your situation and a check or credit card authorization for the amount you are able to pay.
CONFIRMATION POLICY: Your enrollment is confirmed ONLY when you have received a confirmation letter from us. We want you to have peace of mind that your space is truly confirmed. KIDPOWER sends email enrollment confirmation to those who sign up for our classes. We mail written confirmation to those without an email address. Effective communication is a top priority for us, but we have no way to know if our messages are blocked by filters, directed to junk mail folders, or lost in the mail. Please follow up with us directly until you receive confirmation. If you have not received e-mail confirmation within five (5) days of sending your request, please assume that either your request or our confirmation did not reach its destination and contact us right away. If e-mail is not getting through, please telephone 1-800-467-6997 Ext 1#.
CANCELLATION POLICY: KIDPOWER reserves the right to cancel workshops due to insufficient enrollment. Should we need to cancel a class, we will reschedule the workshop for another date. If we cancel a class, you may either choose to attend on an alternative date or request that we send you a full refund. If you notify KIDPOWER within at least two weeks of the workshop, you may cancel your workshop registration and receive a full credit toward another class, to be used within one year. If you cancel your registration with less than two weeks notice, but 24 hours before the class, we offer a credit for 50% of the cost of the class, to be used within one year. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or do not attend the workshop, we do not offer a credit or refund.
KIDPOWER 'Everyday Safety' Two-hour Parent-Child Workshop for Children Ages 4 to 8
$60 per child including all adults with that child. Fee includes a KIDPOWER Safety Plan Comic Book.
KIDPOWER Full Force Introductory Parent-Child Workshop for Children Ages 6 to 12
$115 per child includes all adults with that child.
