How your workplace can support Kidpower!

Here are four ways you can seek support for Kidpower through your workplace.

1. Find out if your employer will match your donation or volunteer time

Many companies offer matching programs for employee donations and volunteering, and they often value hearing directly from employees about the causes they support.  Ask your company leaders, “Does our company give donations to match my volunteer time or personal donations to Kidpower?” 

You might need to make your donation through their internal process to have it counted for a matching donation. This may include setting up an automatic payroll deduction, rather than donating one lump sum. Please contact your workplace for details, and let us know if you need any documentation regarding your donation!

2. Tell us the name of your employer and we’ll check for a donation matching program!

We can also check for an employer matching gift program! If you email the name of your employer to safety@kidpower.org, we will check to see if your employer offers a donation matching program and, if they do, we’ll email you a link to their form. 

Or you can include your employer information when you donate online! To make your donation online, use our Donate page here! After the contact information fields, enter the name of your employer.

3. Recommend Kidpower for a grant from your company

Kidpower programs address many issues that are important to employers.  Ask your company leaders, “How can I recommend Kidpower as part of our corporate giving?” Please email us to get information about how Kidpower can help meet your workplace’s specific priorities.

 

4. Recommend Kidpower’s workplace training programs for employees

See if your employer would like to have Kidpower provide training for employees. Many workplaces are using Kidpower skills-based educational resources and training programs to benefit their employees.
