Kidpower Advice to Prevent Sexual Abuse At Summer Camp & Recreation Activities

Our Keeping Our Kids Safe at Summer Camps and in Youth Sports – Child Abuse Prevention Video provides cheerful and clear guidance about:

  • what questions to ask of places and people in charge of your kids
  • how to prepare children and teens to speak up for their safety, and
  • how to take action when there is a concern.

Kidpower Workshops

Kidpower, Teenpower, and Familypower workshops give our participants the opportunity for successful practice of skills and strategies to prevent and solve problems with people. Topics include: 8 Skills to Face Bullying With Confidence, Boundary and Positive Communication Skills, and much much more. You can attend a public workshop or organize a private workshop for your family and friends, school, or youth group. We also provide training for parents, educators, and other caring adults.

Our next public workshop is Familypower: Online Safety Skills for ages 9-14 side-by-side with their adults on Sunday, June 22, 10-11am PT.

Kidpower 30-Skill Coaching Handbook

Our most comprehensive, yet easily accessible, handbook for practicing safety skills is our Kidpower 30-Skills Coaching Handbook.Parents, teachers, and other caring adults use this resource to prepare children and teens to stay safe from bullying and abuse and to have more fun and fewer problems with people.
