Prepare your kids ages 9-14 to stay safe from violence!

In this dynamic live online workshop led by our talented instructors, youth ages 9-14 together with their adults will learn and practice the following safety strategies and physical self-defense skills for preventing and stopping an attack.
  • Recognize and interrupt the Pattern of Attack
  • Spot trouble early- and leave in a powerful respectful way
  • De-escalate threats and harassment with confidence
  • Take the lead with friends to help keep everyone safe
  • Use the power of your voice to stop someone who is acting dangerously and to get help
  • Use emergency self-defense skills to escape from a potentially violent attack
  • Use bullying self-defense skills to get away from someone close to your age who is physically bullying you and you cannot get away from or get help

Your $75 USD registration per screen includes the live workshop and one-on-one email support to answer questions. In addition, a followup message after the workshop to all registrants will provide access to relevant resources, including a 100% discount code for a digital copy of our Kidpower Youth Safety Comics.

Workshop Fee: $75/screen (includes teens and adults in the same family)
Pre-registration is required as there is limited space.
This workshop is geared towards families with kids ages 9-14.

Donations over the amount of workshop fees are tax-deductible. We do not turn anyone away from our workshops for lack of money. Scholarship assistance is available.

Because practicing together greatly increases the ability to use the skills taught in real life, we strongly recommend that you keep your video and microphone on and practice along with the instructor.

Upon registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with the meeting link.

The instructor’s presentation may be recorded for Kidpower use. Participants will not be recorded.
