Last week, the following story was sent to us from a grateful and relieved mother:

“Very recently, our 13-year-old daughter kept herself safe from an attempted abduction by a stranger in a cargo van while she was walking our dog just a few blocks from our house.

There is no question in my mind that the Kidpower training she received helped her to know what to do in this threatening situation. I am so grateful to Kidpower and all the amazing instructors around the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

What is the price of our children’s safety? It is priceless. Kidpower is simple, positive, and effective. A few hours in a Kidpower self-protection workshop can prevent a lifetime of therapy and recovery from trauma. My dream is that all people have access to this empowering personal safety training!”

This story, along with countless others, are what inspire us to keep doing what we do — teaching people of all ages to take charge of their safety.

Our donors, volunteers, and supporters are all Kidpower Champions. Thanks to you, this young teen and many others knew just what to do at the moment it mattered.

Our goal at Kidpower is that every child, every family, every PERSON knows how to recognize trouble, move away, and be persistent in getting help. Kidpower will dramatically expand access to essential skills and knowledge in 2021. And we need your help to do so.

We are thrilled with the surge of generosity we’ve seen in response to an amazing $100,000 Challenge Grant for all new gifts received between December 22nd-31st. With just a few hours to go, we are almost there! Please give as generously as you can. This exciting challenge will enable Kidpower to help millions more children and people around the world.
