Why Your Gift Makes a Difference!

“Kidpower’s ongoing commitment to inclusiveness has helped me to make the world a safer place for my transgender child!”

Creating circles of safety around our kids!

I admit that I get enraged when someone’s thoughtless remarks about not accepting gender differences causes my child to feel alone and sad. But that doesn’t solve the problem; it just makes me miserable without helping my kid.

Kidpower’s comprehensive advocacy skills have helped me convert my anger into productive and positive action so that I can constructively educate the teachers, parents, and students at my child’s school. Now, there is more openness about how to create a welcoming place for people of different genders and identities. Even better, a couple of children with gender differences have been empowered to express their reality – and several other parents with transgender kids have been turning to me for advice.

Kidpower’s ongoing deep commitment to safety and respect for everyone, everywhere, has helped my family and countless others to know that we are not alone, and given us practical steps we can take to make positive changes for our kids.
