Brandi is one of our Safetypowers Ambassadors and lives with disabilities. She shared this story:
“Yesterday, I had to talk to someone from the agency that helps handle my expenses. Before Safetypowers, these calls often ended in tears. The agents who were supposed to help me would yell at me and make me feel like I was doing everything wrong.
This time was different. I used my Screen, Trash Can, Calm Down, and Mouth Closed Powers.
When the agent was yelling, I finally understood what she wanted me to do. At that moment, I calmly and confidently said, “OK! I’ll do that.” Suddenly, she was quiet. And then, I was shocked and happy to hear her say, in a kind and calm voice, “THANK YOU!”
The call started off terrible – and ended up GREAT thanks to my Safetypowers skills!”
