Boundary Setting & Advocacy Skills

Monday, February 9 on Zoom

12-1pm ET/9-10am PT or 7-8pm ET/4-5pm PT – two opportunities to join!
Each followed by 30min Q&A for those who want more

NAMI Connecticut invites you to a free, interactive workshop with Safetypowers, where we’ll learn and practice practical boundary‑setting and advocacy skills that can be used right away!

Together, we’ll practice ways to:

    • Set clear, respectful boundaries
    • Advocate for yourself and others
    • Deal with negative reactions – confidently!
    • Manage emotional triggers to stay effective
    • Stay emotionally safe in the face of rude, hurtful, or disrespectful behavior

This workshop is presented by lead Safetypowers trainers from Kidpower International.

Questions? NAMI Connecticut Education & Training Director Valerie Lepoutre, vlepoutre@namict.org, or Kidpower Community Education Director Erika Leonard, 510-334-2242 or erika@kidpower.org

This workshop is made possible thanks to funding awarded to Kidpower International by the Honda USA Foundation.
