¿Cómo practicamos estas habilidades?
Practicamos haciendo juegos de roles en los que usamos estas habilidades para afrontar problemas relevantes según las necesidades de las personas mayores:
- Pensar primero cuando alguien llama a tu puerta
- Abogar por ti mismo/a con respecto a tu salud
- Manejar la presión de la familia y otros seres queridos cuando demandan dinero u otros regalos
- Proteger tu seguridad emocional ante prejuicios y mensajes negativos (viejismo)
- Persistir ante respuestas negativas o evasivas cuando pides ayuda
