We are honored and moved by the hard work and commitment of an almost-13-year-old named Max in raising funds to further Kidpower’s work in stopping bullying. As his Bar Mitzvah service project, Max dedicated a great deal of time and energy to reach out online to his circle of family and friends, contact local businesses, and organize a skating party as a fundraising event. Max has raised $970 so far, and the donations are still coming in!

In the process, Max has raised a great deal of awareness about the work that Kidpower does to find positive solutions to address bullying, including asking other young people to make the Kidpower Put Safety First Commitment for Yourself and Others.  Max has taken leadership in other ways to stop bullying, including reaching out to include kids who have been bullied at his school.

CONGRATULATIONS, MAX, on your Bar Mitzvah – and THANK YOU for your contributions to our work.
