How to Stop Bullying and Harassment
Skills for Protecting Children, Teens, and Adults
Bullying and harassment can make life miserable no matter how old or young you are. When another person deliberately and repeatedly tries to be hurtful or to cross boundaries, children, teens, and adults everywhere often feel frustrated and hopeless about the problem.
The good news is that many people have been successful in using Kidpower People Safety skills to take charge of bullying situations, even when these problems have gone on a long time. These are skills that anyone can learn quickly and start using right away. Scroll down for Kidpower's articles, videos, podcasts, publications, and workshops that show how to stop most bullying and harassment.
“I see students consistently using Kidpower skills and techniques on the playground to deal with bullying, name-calling and unwanted touch. Teachers use the Kidpower skills sets within the classroom and during class meetings. The Kidpower curriculum is clear, accessible and easy to implement.”

Workshops - Hands-on Learning Experiences
to Develop Skills That Can Stop Most Bullying
Kidpower workshops give families, schools, and youth groups the opportunity to practice skills that can prevent and stop bullying most of the time. Participants learn how to notice bullying, how to protect themselves if someone is trying to bully them, how to stop themselves from bullying, and how to advocate for the safety of others.
Kidpower offers workshops and resources that prepare our students to protect themselves from potentially harmful experiences with people, including bullying. We serve children, teens, and adults, including seniors and people with special needs. We work with schools and other organizations to arrange workshops that are specifically tailored to the needs of each group and individual.
